Cabaret is the musical tale of 19-year-old English cabaret star Sally Bowles and her relationship with a young American writer during the Nazis’ rise to power in 1931 Berlin. ‘Cabaret’ turns Weimar Berlin of 1931 into a sizzling haven of decadence with the notorious Emcee and sassy Sally Bowles who perform nightly at the infamous Kit Kat Klub.
Based on a 1939 novel by Christopher Isherwood and a 1951 play by John Van Druten, this musical features music by John Kander and Lyrics by Fred Ebb.
